A day after the Cowboys whooped the Patriots, former New England QB Tom Brady shared his thoughts on the humiliating defeat.
The Dallas Cowboys very much took their frustrations at the Week 3 loss to the Cardinals out on the Patriots at the weekend. The Cowboys handed Bill Belichick the worst loss of his career in a game that could have been the 300th career victory. The Cowboys’ stellar defense was a major reason for the 38-3 victory, as they scored two touchdowns, forced three turnovers and picked up three sacks.

Tom Brady gives his thoughts on the Cowboys steamrolling the Patriots in Week 4
A day after the 38-3 demolition, Tom Brady gave his thoughts on his former team’s blowout loss and losing in general in the NFL.
Speaking on his Let’s Go podcast, he said: “It’s tough. I mean, losing in the NFL’s tough,” Brady said.
“For me watching a lot of football, every loss hurts. And believe me, if you’re part of a loss you don’t care about anyone else’s losses. You just care about your loss. If you win you look around and go, ‘All right, who else lost?’ So, in every building with a loss, it’s tough. It’s tough because you spent all week preparing and it didn’t go the way you wanted. So, it’s just that football is a tough sport. It’s brutally tough.”

Brady suffered his first ever loss to the Cowboys earlier this year
It’s fair to say Tom Brady was a thorn in Dallas’ side throughout his Hall of Fame career. Heading into the NFC wild card matchup between the Cowboys and Buccaneers earlier this year, Brady was a perfect 7-0 against Dallas. The Cowboys were one of four teams – Vikings (5-0), Buccaneers (4-0) and Patriots (1-0) – he’d never lost against.
However, that all ended this year as the Cowboys came away with a 31-14 victory to defeat Brady for the first time in his 23-year career.
With the victory, Brady’s record against the Cowboys moved to 7-1 for his career. While it’s hardly something to shout from the rooftops, Dallas fans can take plenty of comfort from the fact they handed Brady an L is his last ever appearance in the NFL.
