This Kansas City Chiefs team is breaking records and their appetite is insatiable.

The mark of a truly great team is not just the ability to win, but it is possessing the mental hunger to go and do it again.

Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs have this winning attitude, proved in the way they fought to become the first NFL team in 20 years to win back to back Super Bowls.

Now, many are asking if Kansas City can do what no team has ever done in the Super Bowl era, and win three titles in a row.

Chiefs already eyeing three-peat

Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo has four Super Bowl rings to his name, and is in the conversation for the greatest ever.

Now, in an interview with Sirius XM’s Mad Dog Radio, Spagnuolo says he was overjoyed to hear the Chiefs players discussing the potential of a third consecutive Super Bowl title in the locker room, right after winning against the 49ers.

Spagnuolo explained: “All they’re saying is three-peat. I mean, I love professional athletes. They just bubble with confidence.

“And it’s amazing that the guys thought about that immediately.”

He added that star quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the calls, showing his own personal desire to win more.

He said: “I mean, Patrick Mahomes might have been his first thought in the locker room after we won, and that just shows you what they’re made of guys like that elite athletes that if you win one, you want to win more

“I mean, it’s a love challenge. And so I guess the next challenge, we try to go back to back to back.”

Back to back to back. That would be quite something.

There has been debate over who is better, Mahomes or Tom Brady. If Mahomes can win three in a row, it will tip the balance in his favour, surely, achieving something Brady never could.

That’s the motivation the Chiefs need. The chance to make more history. It’s great to hear the team have the hunger to go again.
