If you’re one of the many whose favourite holiday is Christmas, then we are approaching what Andy Williams famously called “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”.
And if you’re among the millions who support the Kansas City Chiefs, you have another reason to love the holiday season.
The Chiefs have provided their fans with plenty of holiday cheer since a certain Patrick Mahomes became the starting quarterback, joining forces with a future Hall of Fame tight end in Travis Kelce and Andy Reid, who, along with Mahomes and Kelce, seem destined for Canton.
KC has never missed the playoffs since those three have been together, making it to at least the AFC Championship at worst each time since 2018.
Just like a kid counting down the days to Christmas morning, Chiefs fans are equally excited to see the regular season wind down and their team in the hunt for the Super Bowl.
Every family has their annual holiday traditions around Christmas time, and for those in Chiefs Kingdom, it’s been all about watching their team prosper in hopes they deliver the Lombardi Trophy to Kansas City.
Holiday Cheer
By now, it’s likely just about everyone who’s a football or non-football fan knows the Kelce name.
It might be because you’re a “Swifty”, aka a Taylor Swift fan, or because Travis Kelce features in all kinds of commercials.
The brothers also have a well-known podcast called “New Heights”, which has over 1.5 million subscribers on Youtube, so it’s safe to say they’ve each paved a pretty good marketing path for themselves when football is over.
The Kelce’s will lend their voices to Christmas with a new single set to drop on Wednesday.
Jason recently called Travis, who got on board with the idea of singing a Philly Special Christmas song with his brother.
The release comes just a few days before the two square off for perhaps the most anticipated NFL game of the season, with the Chiefs hosting the Eagles at Arrowhead on Monday Night Football.
It’s being billed as a revenge game after the Chiefs beat them in the Super Bowl last season on a last-play field goal.

Will Swift be on the Single?
Taylor Swift is in Brazil this weekend as part of her ERAS tour, so we probably won’t see her at Arrowhead for the big game.
There is widespread speculation, though, that she may lend her vocals to this Christmas single.
Clearly, the stories of Swift and Travis Kelce have not gone away, and it’d be another way to grow what’s already been a massive money grab for the two siblings and the NFL.
For Jason, we have already heard him shred vocals in Christmas songs before, but in the case of Travis, it’s a big mystery if he’s got the chops.
