Kay Adams believes a specific game from the 2024 season could be a threat to Jerry Jones’ Cowboys

Now that the Dallas Cowboys’ 2024 game schedule has been released, predictions are starting to be made as to which games the team will succeed or fail in.

The upcoming season is extremely valuable for Dallas. It will be largely responsible for telling Jerry Jones whether the franchise needs to rebuild or whether it’s worth keeping the stars at home.

If you take a look at the calendar, the first impression is that it’s not going to be such an easy season, but it’s possible to achieve a 10-7 record, for example.

The Cowboys have now gone 12-5 two years in a row, not to mention the fact that Dak Prescott delivers great performances in the regular season.

But this year is different – the atmosphere isn’t very harmonious internally. From the outside, fans and the media are concerned about which version of America’s Team they’ll come across in September.

The opponent that could weaken the Cowboys’ power

Week 11 looks set to be one of the toughest for Dallas. That’s because they face the Houston Texans, a franchise with a young squad that is coming off a total rebuild.

C.J. Stroud is coming into his sophomore year in the NFL after putting on a show as a rookie. He led the Texans to the playoffs and ended up being eliminated by the Baltimore Ravens in the Divisional Round.

The major change Cowboys Nation is hoping for in 2024 is to try and stop the opponents’ running game. It’s going to be quite a challenge to stop Houston’s new addition in the backfield – Joe Mixon.

Kay Adams thinks Dallas could lose their place as the best team in Texas

On the latest edition of Up & Adams Show, Kay Adams reacted to the Dallas Cowboys’ schedule and gave her perspective on what she expects from the in-state clash against the Texans: “It’s week 11 – things get interesting by then.” claimed.

She believes that the battle between siblings can be a turning point in this game.

“We get to see Stefon and Trevon. I love a Diggs brother situation like any brother game facing each other. But then you get the actual defense versus offense of it. It’s kind of nice, and it will be electric and I think those two in particular have been waiting for this for a long time beyond that.”

She then goes on to say that C.J. Stroud’s team is flourishing and that the expectations for their 2024 season are huge.

“This is a great opportunity for said Houston Texans. They’ve gained a lot over the past year. They’ve got momentum, they’ve got talent, they got wins, they got trophies. With Stroud, the defense and now the Diggs trade, they are and they should be looked at as a Super Bowl contender.”

Depending on the outcome of this rivalry, Adams sees the hegemony of Jerry Jones’ franchise under threat.

“The Cowboys, on the other hand, they are already having their titles America’s team come into question before anything even happens. And if Houston goes into Jerry World and wins this, they might not be the best team in their state anymore. So it gets a little spicy.”
