First responders were rushed to the scene in Kansas City, where thousands were in attendance.
CNN report shootings have taken placed, with victims and circumstances behind the incident yet to be determined.

Police statement on Kansas City shootings
Kansas City Police issued two statements, first advising the public to avoid the area, before an update on the incident.
The first read: “Shots have been fired around Union Station. Please leave the area.”
Another followed: “Shots were fired west of Union Station near the garage and multiple people were struck.
“We took two armed people into custody for more investigation.”
ABC News reports one person has now been confirmed dead after the shootings. 14 are being treated for injuries. Not all injuries may be gunshot related.
Victims were seen being taken away in ambulances. The FBI were also pictured on the scene.
The incident happened at the end of the event, with the festivities beginning as early as 8am.

A rally was being held in celebration of the Kansas City Chiefs victory over the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.
It was the team’s second successive win, becoming the first team to retain the Mike Lombardi Trophy in 20 years.
