It supports initiatives that focus on health, wellness, communities in need of resources and other charitable causes.”
Travis Kelce is also an example when it comes to helping those in need. He created ’87 & Running’, a foundation that seeks to give opportunities to disadvantaged young people.
The player is dedicated to providing enrichment opportunities for youth and their communities via fundraising, sports programmes, mentoring and outreach projects.

Walter Payton Man Of The Year Award
The Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award is presented annually by the National Football League (NFL) to players who demonstrate excellence both on and off the field.
This award recognises not only sporting performance, but also outstanding service and dedication to the community on the part of athletes. The award is valued for its prestige and for reflecting the values and principles of the league.
All 32 NFL teams choose their players for the Man of the Year award. In addition to his performance on the field, the winner must have a positive impact on the community through volunteer or charity work.
The award was renamed in honour of Chicago Bears running back Walter Payton, who was known for his outstanding performance as an athlete and as a person off the field.
Kansas City players Brian Waters (2009), Will Shields (2003), Derrick Thomas (1993), Len Dawson (1973) and Willie Lanier (1972) have already won the award. The Chiefs are the only franchise to have won the award five times.
