The Kansas City Chiefs have been plugging the holes in the offseason as they solidify a team to secure another ring.
Attention has now shifted to the upcoming draft after the initial surge of free agency has dried up.
With just 22 days until the Chicago Bears are on the clock for the first pick in the NFL Draft, teams are drawing up their wish lists.
The Chiefs are no exception, Brett Veach has been eagerly watching the tapes to know who he thinks are the best rookie additions.
Due to their Super Bowl LVIII triumph, the Chiefs are set to be the last team to pick in the first round.

Chiefs invite talented center to Pro Day
Kansas City is hosting its local Pro Day and one K-State player has mind-blowing stats.
In attendance on April 9th will be the K-State center Hayden Gillum.
Gillum in 2023 was voted the team captain highlighting his leadership and locker room presence.
The 6,3 center boasts an immaculate injury record starting all games in his last two seasons of college football.
Additionally, the exciting local prospect did not allow a sack or receive a penalty in 2023.
Overall, Gillum played 940 offensive snaps in the 2023 season.
Protection for Creed Humphrey
Chiefs have shown a keen interest in the player through their invitation to the local Pro Day.
Currently, the Chiefs boast a fantastic young center in Creed Humphrey.
Humphrey, in three seasons, has already achieved All-pro status and has been selected for two Pro Bowls.
The 24-year-old has been an imperative figure in the offensive line which has seen him win two Super Bowl rings.
Could the Chiefs be tempted to use one of their later picks on the natural center as protection for Creed Humphrey?
For the Chiefs, it is just making sure no stone is unturned.
Kansas City has seven picks overall, with three in the top 100.
