The Dallas Cowboys are the most supported team in America but popularity comes with its downsides and Jason Kelce has explained his feelings towards them.
America’s Team has developed into one of the most iconic sporting brands in the world on a global scale.
Moreover, the franchise has been scaled up by owner Jerry Jones to become the most valuable sports team in the world.
However, as part and parcel of sporting culture, rivalries are one cornerstone that will not be shaken.
The Dallas Cowboys despise the Philadelphia Eagles as one of their biggest rivalries
The Dallas Cowboys’ residency in the NFC East means they are automatically hardwired to grow a resentment for their divisional rivals.
In recent years, the Cowboys have locked horns with the Philadelphia Eagles at the top of the division as they jostle for the crown.
The recent dropoff from the New York Giants and Washington Commanders has made the NFC East a two-horse race.

After locking in the number-one seed in the NFC and the division title in 2022, the Eagles opened the door for the Cowboys in 2023.
Dallas managed to pounce on the Eagles’ abysmal form heading into the tail end of the season and steal the NFC East title back.
Jason Kelce speaks about his hatred for the Dallas Cowboys
Recent retiree Jason Kelce and future Hall of Famer for the Eagles spoke about his rivalry with Cowboy fans in his career.
“Oh, I have no bias… but I just don’t like them,” he explained via the New Heights podcast.
“I’m gonna give them their props. There’s a rivalry, but the reality is, even though I hate the Cowboys’ fanbase… I can set aside my differences as a player and the competition…”
The six-time First-Team All-Pro was respectful of the healthy rivalry he has with the Cowboys but is willing to put his differences aside in certain aspects.
Jason Kelce joined the ESPN Monday Night crew so must put his bias aside
Furthermore, the former NFL star has been picked up to join the ESPN Monday Night Football Countdown pregame crew.
Therefore, he will have to put his bias aside when Dallas plays their first Monday night game against the Houston Texans and then their second versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
The former lifelong Eagle does have one thing over the Cowboys during his playing career, he managed to reach two Super Bowls and win one of them.
Ultimately, the Cowboys are in desperate need of tasting their former glory and playing on the grandest stage once again.
