Friends of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce give verdict on whether relationship is real or not

Since the start of the NFL regular season, it’s arguably been the most significant talking point in 2023.

From numerous shots of Taylor Swift at Arrowhead for Kansas City Chief games to the kiss she shared in Argentina with Travis Kelce after a concert, their story has yet to lose traction.

Entertainment and gossip magazines are making a killing off those stories of late and there doesn’t seem to be anything as juicy for them to discuss.

There seems to be a polarizing opinion about Swift and Kelce together.

One is that it’s a legitimate relationship, while others suggest it’s merely a publicity stunt.

Some of those that know the Chiefs tight end recently weighed in on the situation.

Are Swift and Kelce legit?

According to close friends of Kelce, what he and Swift have is 100% real.

People Magazine recently interviewed that unnamed insider about Kelce and Swift.

The article says, “Travis’ friends think this is the real deal for him.”

“They’re still a little shocked by all of it — that he’s dating Taylor Swift, but they’ve seen how down to earth she is with his friends and family.”

The source continues to say their relationship is growing, while also celebrating each other’s remarkable achievements in their respective fields.

“They’re both really hard workers, and he acknowledges her art is hers, and he has what’s his,” according to the source.

“He understands the territory their relationship comes with and like he said, isn’t letting any of the hoopla impact how they’re growing together.”

“Their relationship is about the two of them, and he (Kelce) sees Taylor for who she is and vice versa.”

From changing the lyrics of her song “Karma” to all the shots of Swift with Kelce’s family and teammates’ wives, all evidence points to them being an item.

How Kelce is dealing with Superstardom

You’re already famous when you play in the NFL and accomplish what Kelce has at 34.

By now, Kelce should know what it’s like to deal with the footballing spotlight, but since Swift came into the picture, it’s not just NFL fans paying attention to him.

Everyone is talking about him right now, which is more than most superstar athletes are accustomed to.

The Chiefs tight end recently spoke to the Wall Street Journal about Swift and what she’s meant to him.

“I’ve never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them.”

In another interview with People last week, Kelce talked about how Swift’s life has helped him deal with the ongoing limelight.

“The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she’s just living, enjoying life.”

Swift meanwhile had this to say to the Wall Street Journal about Kelce and his demeanour over the past few months.

“He’s happier than I’ve seen him in a long time…. God bless him; he shot for the stars!”
