The NFL Combine is well underway in Indianapolis and the personalities of the NFL Draft picks are surfacing.
Quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs are due to take to the field on Saturday but many other positions have already taken to the Combine grass.
One of the most intriguing talents in the 2024 NFL Draft is the projected first rounder Brock Bowers.

Bowers first round prospect
The tight end out of Georgia state is the highest graded in his respective position, making him a desirable asset.
Next Gen Stats have rewarded Bowers with an overall score of 94, scoring 99 in his production ranking.
The 6 foot 4 inch tight end led the Georgia Bulldogs in receiving yards throughout his three years in college football.
Predictions have placed Bowers as a year 1 starter and ‘will breathe new life into any offense’ within the National Football League.
When comparing the draftee’s prospect to a current star, the NFL called the tight end as being of a similar to the San Francisco 49ers George Kittle.
Detroit Lions tight end, Sam Laporta, was his franchise’s rookie starter and went on to secure 889 yards and earned a Pro Bowl call up – could Bowers be similar? That could influence team’s thinking.
NBS NFL reporter, Connor Rogers, sat down with the rookie born in California at the Combine.
The soon-to-be NFL star was asked if there was any quarterback, in particular, he would find it cool to catch passes off.
The tight end replied: “Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers.”
Who would not want to catch passes off a three-time Super Bowl champion or a four-time MVP winner?
A few more years of Kelce
The idea of an outstanding rookie tight-end linking up with Mahomes would be a dream, when you consider their production together.
Legendary Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is coming of age now and it may have started to show. Multiple dropped passes and not breaching the 1,000 yard receiving yards marker for the first time since 2015 could be a sign.
Once Kelce does call it a day, the Chiefs will be searching for their new tight-end to partner Mahomes.
This will almost certainly not be Bowers, as he is predicted to be snatched up high in the draft order, but never say never.
