The Dallas Cowboys are drawing up their plans for the upcoming draft which is only a matter of weeks away.
America’s Team has made limited movements in the offseason due to the financial restriction of Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb needing to be paid.
Additionally, Micah Parsons will be fishing for a mega deal to keep him as Cowboy.
Cowboys banking on drafting well
So, the Cowboys will do what they are historically very good at – drafting.
Mike Fisher stated that the glimmer of hope remaining for Cowboy Nation is their exceptional drafting ability.
You just have to look at Lamb and Parsons, two of the best players in their positions on rookie deals.

Jerry Jones and his front office will target the draft to plug the gaps on the roster.
Moreover, the Cowboys’ main priorities are the offensive line and the running back role.
However, there is a spot in the receiving core which has opened up this offseason.
Gallup leaves a spot open in the receiving core
Michael Gallup was released from his six-year contract on March 15th as his production failed to justify his money.
Therefore, the Cowboys will most likely be looking at a wide receiver in the upcoming draft.
Wester Kentucky receiver, Malachi Corley, will be one of the 30 players the Cowboys have selected to visit them this week.
Jordan Schultz reported Corley would be visiting the Cowboys but has also been contacted by multiple franchises.
Cowboys interested in ‘Deebo Samuel 2.0’
People have dubbed the wide receiver the ‘Deebo Samuel 2.0’, per Schultz.
According to the ESPN reporter, he is a prospect that borders on the fringe of the first to second round.
Most likely, Corley will be selected high up in the NFL Draft.
Cowboys will probably miss the chance due to demand and other priorities to address.
His electric speed and yards after the catch make him a valuable prospect, which sees comparisons to the San Fran wide receiver.
In three seasons – as a starter – at college, he has secured 2,968 yards and 29 touchdowns.
