The Kansas City Chiefs are locked in on their upcoming ‘three-peat’ season but they have a dangerous situation developing with a key player.
Rashee Rice has come forward and handed himself into the Dallas County police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
According to WFAA, Rice faces numerous charges connected to his role in the multi-vehicle crash on March 30th.
Rashee Rice’s actions leave his bright career in the balance
Rice and his acquaintances were involved in a crash after speed racing in a Lamborghini and a Corvette.
This has put a dampener on the Chiefs’ offseason preparations with a key player caught up in a legal battle.

Rice was a standout performer in his rookie season, logging 938 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
Additionally, the 23-year-old broke the NFL postseason record for rookie receptions, registering 26.
The expectations were sky-high for Rice in his sophomore season but those have serious doubt cast over them due to the incident.
Furthermore, Rice handed himself into the police on Thursday night and was released on bail.
‘People were injured’… Florio left angry at the Chiefs’ response
Pro Football Talk host Mike Florio has been left speechless about the franchise’s alarming silence on the dangerous situation.
Today on the show, Florio said: “The Chiefs still haven’t said a word, they won’t even say we’re monitoring the situation.
“Chiefs have no comment. Are you serious Clark [Hunt]?! I mean really, at a time when you are getting F-minuses from your players, you’re gonna have no comment when one of your players goes back to the town, where you live and creates havoc like this on the highway. You’ve got no comment about that at all?
“The only thing that someone has been said came from Mark Donovan the team president to say, ‘Well at least no one was injured’. Mark I know you was focused on the election that failed at the time you said that, but people were injured!”
Florio is exasperated by the radio silence and lack of comment from the Chiefs front office.
Rice is facing numerous charges and Clark Hunt has made no comment addressing the incident.
Arrowhead Stadium tax vote rejected causing more issues
Only Mark Donovan has remarked on the situation but he has been focused on the vote failure in Jackson County.
Moreover, a stadium tax was rejected by the Jackson County residents adding further problems for the Chiefs.
Rashee Rice could be looking at the realistic future of having no NFL career, he could face prison time, fines, and suspensions.
Rice has cooperated with the respective authorities but that does not excuse the deafening silence from the Chiefs, per Mike Florio.
